"Rocky Mountain Hideaway"
by Fred Buchwitz
| 12 A father and son slowly paddle toward their summer
cabin after a pleasant afternoon of fishing. They contemplate in silent awe the wondrous and dazzling splendor of nature as shadows begin to deepen, signaling the approaching night. The golden glow of the cabin's windows beckon them to their warm refuge as the cool evening air begins to set in. A crackling fire and supper on the stove await their home-coming, bringing an end to a perfect day. |
